Top 10 Worst Albums of 2023
These are my personal Top 10 Worst Albums of 2023. The rankings of these records only reflect my personal lack of enjoyment of each album.
10. Ameer Van & Merlyn Wood - Slime in the Ice Machine
This may be the most disappointing album I’ve ever heard in my entire life. Rest in Pieces, Brockhampton.
9. Rush - Maneskin
This album was very unpleasant to the ears. I will never listen to it again.
8. Roger Waters - The Dark Side of the Moon Redux
For some reason, Roger Waters decided to just ruin the Dark Side of the Moon for no reason. I’ll just let him have it and put it on this list.
7. NF - Hope
It’s too corny for me. And I don’t mind corny, as long as it’s self aware of how corny it is. This album is genuinely delusional in its own sense of importance.
6. DDG - Maybe It’s Me…
It is you, Papa Junior (congratulations). You have 10 different versions of geekin’ on here. Make more songs that are not just different versions of Geekin’.
5. 6ix9ine - Leyenda Viva
This album is basura. Next.
4. Hardy - The Mockingbird & the Crow
This album is double basura. Next.
3. Lil Pump II - Lil Pump
This album is hilariously bad. That metal song is one of the worst metal songs I have ever heard in my entire life. I laughed my ass off listening to this record because of how horrible the mixes and performances were on this record.
2. Tom MacDonald & Adam Calhoun -The Brave II
This album is pure bigotry. Tom MacDonald is Canadian. He is committing Stolen Valor. He is not American. As far as his fans are concerned, he is a FOREIGN IMMIGRANT permitted into the United States on a Visiting Basis. We need to have a complete and total shutdown on the Northern Border until we find out what the Hell is going on. Far too many Canadian Citizens are faking American Citizenship and it is a disgrace and an insult to our intelligence as American citizens. I love Canada, but with all peace and love, they are not sending Their Best over our Northern Border. This man has been terrorizing our airwaves with Stolen American Valor and horrendous Hip Hop Cosplaying for over half a decade now and he appears to be doing so with not only total impunity and disrespect to Hip Hop’s Black American roots, but with institutional sponsorship as well.
1. Wyatt James - F*** Eating on the Weekend
This album is technically lacking in almost every way a hip hop album can ever be technically lacking. I know he is not trying, but I hope that he actually does try to make a coherent project next run
